Global Angels Charity - Projects Around The World and here in the UK
There are so many projects that need the financial support of charities like Global Angels, here are just a few of the people your donations help:
GULUDO, MOZAMBIQUE Global Angels are currently sponsoring food for 300 children in Guludo Primary School. The combination of feeding and educating children works effectively together with a visionary self-sustaining strategy to ensure long-term community development. Children learn through hands-on experience at the small farm attached to the school how to grow their own fruit and vegetables. A further 100 children are waiting to begin school for the first time.
All they need is sponsorship.
SEBASTIANS TRUST, UK Sebastian's Action Trust, founded by an amazing woman, Jane Gates, is building a respite home for families with a child with terminal cancer. Jane's own 11-year-old child, Sebastian, died in 2003 after a long battle with cancer.
The land for the home has been donated, and money has been raised to build a residence where a family can have a few weeks holiday together in the countryside where all their needs are provided for, away from the hospital. Global Angels is standing with Jane to help equip the house for the first families coming to stay and would like to raise £20,000 for this project.
FUTURE HOPE, INDIA We have recently discovered an amazing couple who have poured their hearts and lives for nearly 20 years into making a difference to hundreds of street children. Tim Grandage, an English bank manager and his Dutch wife, Erica, provide a home, education, medical aid and hope to many children in Calcutta who find themselves living on the streets of the city.
Street children suffer extreme poverty and have little or no ability to change their lives without help. More than anything they need the love and security of a home. Future Hope now runs six family homes where more than 200 former street children live and enjoy life and a school but they need our help to continue this great work.
